Size Measuring Guide

Waist Size

Measure your waist at navel level. Ensure the tape is snug but not overly tight. This measurement is typically about 2 inches above your hip bone or higher than where you usually wear your trousers.

Hip or Seat Size (Optional)

Stand with your feet together and measure around the widest part of your hips. Ensure your pockets are empty for an accurate measurement. This measurement is optional.

Fell Measurements (Optional)

The fell is the distance from your waistline to the hip measurement line. Measure halfway between your waist and seat (hips). This is also an optional measurement.

Kilt Length

To measure your kilt length, kneel on the ground and place the measuring tape on the floor. Measure up to your navel. Remember, kilts should not be worn too long!

Use the height-to-length guide below as a general reference:

HeightKilt Length
5′ 6″ to 5′ 7″22″ to 22.5″
5′ 8″ to 5′ 9″23″ to 23.5″
5′ 10″ to 5′ 11″24″ to 24.5″
6′ to 6′ 2″24.5″ to 25.5″
6′ 3″ to 6′ 4″26″ to 26.5″
6′ 5″ to 6′ 7″27″ to 27.5″

If your kilt length differs significantly from the guide, recheck your measurements. Slight differences might simply reflect personal preference or body shape.
