ROYAL STEWART TARTAN LONG SHOES — traditional Highland shoes to wear with a kilt.

The tartan facing is set into the shoe rather than printed on, so it keeps its colour with wear.

Ghillie brogues are built without a tongue, so water drains out rather than collecting in the shoe — the practical detail that gave them their name and the reason they are still worn outdoors at Highland games as well as indoors at weddings. The long laces cross the instep, wrap around the ankle and tie below the calf, clear of the kilt hose.

Care

Wipe clean after wear and allow to dry naturally, away from direct heat. Treat the leather occasionally with a neutral polish or conditioner to keep it supple.
